Linkages to Learning – Volunteer Teachers

Linkages to Learning is seeking volunteer teachers for our 2018- 2019 Early Literacy Program.  Classes are located at Georgian Forest and Sargent Shriver Elementary Schools in Silver Spring.  

  • Certified teachers and college students majoring in education or related fields are encouraged to apply.
  • Instructors co-teach children in grades K to 4th  two evenings a week for approximately fifteen weeks per semester.
  • Teachers receive training and lesson plans. 
  • A small stipend is provided. 
  • Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, creative, and flexible.
