Christine Neil

Christine joins the MCAEL staff as the Program and Instructional Specialist.  As a former Program Administrator for a state and MCAEL funded program, she is excited to be working with MCAEL where she can bring her skills and experience to benefit the network.  In addition to managing adult English literacy programs including intensive English, workplace literacy and family literacy, Christine has over eighteen years of experience teaching English to adults.  She has taught academic, communicative and vocational English with several providers in the Washington D.C, metro area including Montgomery College, Literacy Council and Howard University Continuing Education. In addition to ESOL for adults, Christine has also worked in the healthcare at United Health and in hospitality at Choice hotels industry for several years in program management, corporate training and policy and procedure development. Originally from Toronto Canada, Christine holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Guelph in Canada and certificates in TESL and Instructing Adults.
In her spare time, Christine enjoys trying out new recipes, planning trips and spending time with her family.
