Tom Colling

Tom joins MCAEL from the Nonprofit Village, where he spent several years building capacity among the region’s emerging nonprofits. Tom has a wealth of experience in the operational, programmatic, administrative, and financial workings of nonprofits, and is also a certified project manager. Having worked previously for a capacity building organization, he has a sound understanding of what MCAEL does for the coalition. Tom holds an MA in Legal and Political Theory from University College London, and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Warwick. He is a graduate of Leadership Montgomery (Emerging Leaders 2017) and volunteers on the selection committee for the Center for Nonprofit Advancement’s Board Leadership Award.

He is a huge fan of sports, particularly soccer—both playing and watching—and enjoys movies and relaxing with a good book.
