Instead Of Party - MCAEL GrownUp Spelling Bee

Mother Nature may have been a buzz-kill in March, but the party will still go on in April! MCAEL invites you to our "Instead-Of" happy-hour to celebrate and support adult English literacy in Montgomery County.

Tuesday, April 28th from 5:30pm-8:00pm

Light fare and non-alcoholic beverages provided

Congressional Plaza

1699 Rockville Pike

Rockville, MD 20852

Join MCAEL Staff, Board, Providers, Instructors, community leaders and some of the coalition’s 15,000+ adult learners to celebrate our work and raise awareness about literacy in Montgomery County, MD. The party will of course include some spelling bee shenanigans to continue friendly rivalries. Prizes will be awarded. The snow put a damper on our March event but MCAEL's yearly tradition continues on! Plan to B-E-E there.

Please RSVP to Kelly Johnson for you & your adult guests at admin@mcael.org by Wednesday, April 22nd and join us on Facebook.

"Literacy is important to Montgomery County because it allows individuals to speak, read and understand and be heard and be understood.  Literacy promotes communication which is critical to success."
