A Community Roundtable for Organizing

Dilemmas, Strategies, and Action Plans

Recent policy changes on the national stage threaten to unravel the regulatory and financial environment in which many safety-net programs operate. Join community and nonprofit leaders to discuss dilemmas, strategize, and arrive at a common understanding of how to harness the collective power of our organizations.

  • Anticipate real and potential threats to Mongomery County's safety net and other programs that contribute to our quality of life
  • Understand the views and perspectives of Federal, State, and Local government regarding budget pressures and changes in programs funding structures
  • Identify our existing strengths and capacities as a sector and develop a community action plan to respond effectively and strategically to a rapidly changing environment
