June has worked with culturally and economically diverse populations in a variety of sectors and organizations - progressive, non-profit organizations, governmental and non-governmental organizations, academia and philanthropy. She most recently joined us from the county office of the Gilchrist Immigrant Resource Center, where she assisted County residents in navigating the wealth of information and resources in the area. June has experience teaching adult learners as a volunteer basic computer teacher and ESOL co-teacher.

She also earned her TESOL certificate with Montgomery College and participated in many of MCAEL’s workshops for providers and instructors. Outside of work, a favorite activity is travelling and exploring new places preferably with her family, loves going to the movies and reading books that can also take you to other places or realities, appreciates spending time with friends and continues to improve her Spanish for professional and personal interactions.
